BTS's RM biography. How he get into BTS?

RM or offstage known as Kim Namjoon is a rapper, songwriter and record producer. He is the leader of the group BTS. He was born on 12 September 1994 (age 26) in Ilsan-gu, Goyang, South Korea. RM stands for Rap Monster. When he was in sixth grade, he heard Epik High's "Fly" for the first time and fell in love with rapping. He began rapping on his own and started a career as an underground rapper under the name "Runch Randa" in 2007, when he was in middle school. He released more songs and collaborated with other underground artists like BLOCK B's Zico. His skills were growing and so his reputation. He was invited to an audition for an underground hip-hop agency, there he met Untouchable's Sleepy who was the judge at the audition. Sleepy was so impressed by RM's rapping skills that he saved RM's phone number and passed it to Bang Si-Hyuk (CEO of big hit entertainment). From here RM started his career. In 2015, he released his first solo mixtape "RM" and in 2018 he released his second mixtape "Mono" which was highest-charting album by a Korean soloist on Billboard 200 chart. He is extremely talented, he can speak three languages "Korean", "Japanese", "English". He loves reading books and was good at studies. In the beginning of their debut when they were getting so much hatred RM kept all the hatred to himself and conveyed a positive message to the members of the group so that they don't feel demotivated. He is considered as the best leader.
