How BTS's Dynamite soothed people in the pandemic last year and created history.

"Dynamite" is a single track recorded by south Korean boy band BTS, this song was released on 21 August 2020 through their company BigHit Entertainment. This is the first song of BTS which is fully recorded in English. This song is written by David stewart and Jessica Agombar and its is produced by Stewart. This song is an upbeat disco-pop song, it's intention was to soothe the listener in Covid-19 pandemic. This song talks about joy and appreciation for all the little valuable things of life. Through this song BTS wanted to give a hope to ARMY's all over the world. After the release of the song it gained a very positive response, it became the fastest YouTube video to reach 10 million views in just 20 minutes of release and the most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours by earning 101.1 million views and setting three new Guinnees World Records. This music video is the fastest in YouTube history to cross 200 million mark in just four days and twelve hours of release. After five months of release in January 2021 it became the fastest music video by a Korean group to achieve 800-900 million views. In just eight months of release it reached 1 billion views on April 12, 2021 making it BTS's fastest music video to reach 1 billion views. BTS became the first of all-south Korean Artists to debut on Billboard hot 100 list, positioning number 1 for legit 3 weeks. The song sold 265,000 downloads in its first week of release. "Dynamite" debuted with 7.778 million streams on Spotify. "Dynamite" also peaked at number 1 on Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. "Dynamite" was nominated for "Best pop Duo/Group performance" at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards, it's also the first GRAMMY nomination for a kpop act. After the release of the song "Dynamite" BTS gained more and more fame. As per a report BTS become excessively famous in India after the release of "Dynamite".
